We, the Fremont County
Democrats believe in a paradigm shift toward the comprehensive health of our
planet and its inhabitants.
Our commitment to the environment includes:
Mitigating the effects of climate change
Keeping human population in sensible relationship with the carrying capacity of our lands, overseeing the development of unincorporated areas of the state and developing a comprehensive land use policy
Preserving biological diversity in our ecosystems and preserving wildlife and wildlife habitat. Responsible and science-based stewardship of all species of flora and fauna
Investing in safe and responsible alternative energy sources and becoming energy independent
Insuring water quality and quantity for culinary, agricultural, recreational and wildlife use. A commitment to guarding and maintaining the rights of all Wyoming residents to all waters that find their source in Wyoming
Maintaining the integrity and
accessibility of public lands.

Economic and civil equity for all Wyoming residents regardless of race, religion, gender and gender identity, or sexual orientation
Insuring that all Wyoming residents have the right to privacy including a woman’s reproductive choices
Insuring that the rights, health, safety, and dignity of all Wyoming workers are protected and preserved. We, therefore, support the right of workers to bargain collectively in both the private and public sectors.
We are committed to eliminating the wage gap between women and men in this "Equality State."
